Hello everyone in this today's blog I am going to make you understand how to recognise noun and what are the functions of noun.

First of all the definition of noun:   Noun is a name of anything .

for example Harish ,Golu ,Ram ,Suresh, Rajwada, patnipura, Indore, these all are name of some people or some places , in the similar manner there are names for emotions feelings and many other things.

These things can represent a person, animal, place, idea, emotion – almost any thing that you can think of. Dog, Ram, we, love, mobile, India, courage and spaceship are all nouns. The more nouns you know in a language, the better you will be able to communicate your ideas. Here, we’ll take a closer look at what makes a noun a noun, and we’ll provide some examples of how nouns are used.

Noun examples: respect, faith, apple, seashore, peanut, motorcycle

Noun can function as the subject in a sentence or object in a sentence of a main verb.

 for example :            I met Harish .

so in this example we observe that  "who" met Harish  "I" , so here "I" is the subject of the main verb "met" . But what is the object ,  I met  "whom"    I met  "Harish" that is why "Harish" is the object of the main verb "met."

WHAT/WHO  + VERB   ==   SUBJECT
